Frist experiences during Fall Break

Hey,

long time since I have written something. I thought now would be the time to let you guys know what is going on in my life over here, right? ;) So let's get started:

Currently I have Fall Break for two weeks which is really necessary.

The first week, the Brown's family takes me into their home again and will spend time with me. From Sunday to Tuesday us girls took a trip to Red River Gorge in Kentucky (KY). Lisa's mom and sister joined us. This trip was a birthday present from the grandma to Kalissa for her 18th b-day. It was a very fun trip for everyone, I can tell! Lots of laughter and lots of sightseeing. We went hiking in the woods down there. The weather was just right. It was kind of warm but no too hot because there were also nice breezes blowing through the woods. Everybody who knows me knows that I love nature. :-D

The other day we went to a place where you can go climbing. That was a gigantic horse-shoe-shaped rock. (see the second part of the pictures).

Later on, we went to the retirement place for racing horses called "Old Friends". We got lots of information about the establishment and about many famous racing horses like Silver Charm & co.

It was very nice to see that these horses, which raced over 100 races and won over millions of dollars, that they will have a chance to live a good life after they retire, and not just get slaughtered like the majority of the race horses. We got to take a tour of that farm; very pretty facility.

That is the whole girls group: of course, I took the picture though. ;)

Our way got "crossed" XD

Hmm, who's paw print could that be?

That was me on a rock while we were hiking.

That is a gigantic rock right there. It threw an echo right back at you, very nice!

The trees are pretty big. It was a gorgeous day!

A huge rock next to our path.

A beautiful little waterfall. It was sooo pretty!

Nice stairs in the rocks!

We had a very pretty view on top of the hill.

Please, don't call me a poser! ;)

After hiking, we went to a sky lift and on my way to the restroom, I found this! Such a cool tree, right?

On our way up to the Natural Bridge in the State Park.

The view of the deep valley was amazing!

My little tree friend, the 'walking stick'. ^^

Look down from the bridge.

On the Bridge ...

... look on the actual bridge.

I just love shadow pictures. ;)

Don't judge me! XD

Nice view, right? ;D

Going downhill again.

Here's the big 'horse shoe'.

A tiny waterfall is included. :-D

Big place!

These are pretty high!

That was the dog "Indy" (Indigo). She is named like that because of her blue eye. Maybe a relative of Casper? ^^

We had a little guest joining our quick pick nick before we arrived at the horse place.

That is Silver Charm, the star of this place and the treasure of the founder of this place, Michael Blowen.

Geri, 2nd oldest horse on this farm. 30 years!

The Farm house is very nice. There is the office, the gift shop and the tourist reception.

What a beautiful landscape.
